Welcome to the Millgate House Hotel
“Millgate House Hotel” was originally a home for “wayward girls” in the 1800’s and became a miller’s house in 1890. It was subsequently converted into flats in 1972 and then became “Millgate House Hotel” in 1981. A substantial extension was added 1991 which tripled the room capacity (all furnished to a very high standard) and which now includes the popular `Orangery Bar & Restaraunt’.
- A total of 40 en-suite rooms are available ranging in price from £60.00 (single room) to £75.00 (double or twin room). These prices are inclusive of full English breakfast and VAT. All of the rooms have television and telephone. See our Tariff page for Executive and family room prices.

- The ‘Orangery Bar and Restaurant’ will comfortably seat 80 diners in its’ attractive surroundings.
- The ‘Blue Room Restaurant’ provides an A La Carte menu and a Private Cocktail Bar which is ideal for private functions.
- The Hotel also caters for private parties, weddings, conferences etc. all of which can be tailored to individual requirements.
- Other Hotel services include a next day laundry facility, a night porter service, ample car parking covered by CCTV.
